It’s passing 00:00 now.
Three minutes later, let’s say that we can measure the movement of air atoms around the world in an instant. Then, can we accurately predict future weather conditions through precise modeling?

I don’t think it’s possible. This is because a single flap of butterfly creates all the uncertainty again. The world is so unpredictable. Even with machine learning, prediction of social phenomena is a very difficult task. It is even more difficult to give faith to one in seven billion people based on model predictions.

You’ve probably heard of the word butterfly effect. In the social context, the butterfly effect has two meanings: the initial subtleties are amplified so that the long-term prediction is very difficult, and even the smallest things can later turn into big events.

Can a Butterfly in Brazil Really Cause a Tornado in Texas?

We’ll have to wait and see.

We can prepare our eyes and ears for the world through software. The news and social network platforms that pour every minute and second provide vast amounts of data through the APIs. And on the Internet, a flood of information, there are many places to watch through crawling.

In today’s network-based era, anyone can find news about various topics such as healthcare, politics, nature, and human rights.

It means we can wait and see if the flap of butterfly really cause a tornado. You can also think about the impact of a small individual’s actions on this big world.

What causes the wind? It could be a big wing of an eagle, like a politician’s word, or a very small choice made by someone like me and you.

How did your choice change the world?

What if someone says, “Your actions have changed the world like this” after watching for 21 days?
